As the autumn weather turns icy, please bear in mind the possibility of school closures over the coming months. The decision to close the school is not taken lightly. Of primary concern is always the safety of our pupils, and we liaise closely with transport providers who are familiar with their routes and current road conditions. If we have heavy snowfall arriving unexpectedly during the school day we will contact parents and carers, and school transport operators often will arrive early to pick up the pupils. If we have prior warning of severe weather, or it arrives during the night, we will make a decision whether to close the school.
